Pin issues to drawings on Mobile

Use Pin the Plan to capture issues on drawings.

Pinning issues to drawings is a handy way to see exactly where the issue is, and what it relates to.


Things to note:

  • A pin can be seen by other project members who have access to view that issue in Field.
  • The color of the pin represents the status of the issue. For example, if the issue is open, the pin is orange.
  • You must be an inspector (or above) to create issues.

Adding a pin

There are two ways to create a pin:

  • Find the drawing you want to add the issue to, then simply tap the screen where you want the pin to appear, and hold your finger down until the pin appears.
  • Alternatively, you can tap the Issues button to add a pin in the middle of the screen. You can then move it to the appropriate position by dragging it there. When you do this, use the blue cross-hairs to help you position it precisely where you want it.

Once you’re happy with where you’ve pinned the issue, you can start entering the issue’s details.
