Aconex login is changing

Take action today and avoid disruption to your Aconex access.

What is changing?

We're changing the way you log into Oracle Aconex. This impacts all Aconex users who log in with a username and password.

Create a Lobby account today to avoid disruption to your access to Aconex.
Remember once you have a Lobby account, you can continue to log into the Aconex login URL directly as you normally would, using your email address and Lobby account password. If you want to, you can sign in to the Lobby. Use the Lobby if you are an Organization Administrator or you have multiple Aconex accounts, as the Lobby lets you see all your accounts, projects, and applications in one place.

Users who haven't yet created a Lobby account however, should do so as soon as possible, to avoid the last minute rush.

What about AU2?
Users on the AU2 instance have a separate Lobby to access their Aconex accounts. Soon, messaging will appear on the sign-in screen, encouraging all users to create a Lobby account via a guided process.

How do I keep informed?

We'll communicate changes through email to all Org Admins and in-app messaging to all users. However, you don't need to wait - create your Lobby account today.

What is a Lobby account?

It is the one user account (email address and password) that you need to access any Aconex project or instance.

You can sign into an Aconex instance using your Lobby account, or you can sign into the Lobby to see all your projects across organizations and instances.

If you use other Oracle Smart Construction Platform applications, such as Oracle Primavera Cloud, those projects will also be available in the Lobby.

Note: You may sometimes see a Lobby account referred to as an Oracle Construction and Engineering account.

How do I get a Lobby account?

Create one yourself now.

Alternatively, your Org Admin can create accounts for all users in your organization.

Unsure if you have an account? Follow these steps to find out.

What does this mean for users?

Once you have a Lobby account, you'll sign into Aconex with your Lobby account (email address and password).

There are two ways to access Aconex:

  • Go to the Aconex instance directly (e.g. https://au1.aconex.com) and sign in with your Lobby account. If you are unsure of your Aconex instance location, visit Support Central and select the Aconex instance you want to log into.
  • Visit the Lobby and sign in with your Lobby account, then select your Aconex project.

What does this mean for Organization Administrators?

Organization Administrators have better visibility of user lists across multiple organizations and Aconex instances in the Lobby.

As an Administrator, you can give your organization a head start.

Soon, if you have a Lobby account, when you create a new user account, you will create a new Lobby account and one or more Aconex accounts for the new user.
