Adding notes to a mail is a quick and simple task.
Add notes or comments
Find the mail you wish to add notes to from either the Inbox, Sent or Draft tabs.
Click on the subject line of the chosen mail to open it.
Click on the Notes tab at the bottom of the mail to see the following two options:
Private Notes
Comments against recipients.
Add a note by entering your text in the appropriate field.
Now select Add note or Save comments.
Tip!
Both notes options are only visible to people in your organization. They won’t be visible to other organizations even if the mail is forwarded or replied to.
Only 'Comments against recipients.' are searchable. This means you can find mail using the content of this field. It can also be added as a column for reporting.
Private notes are not searchable and cannot be added as a column.
Viewing notes
To view a note on a mail, open up the mail and scroll down to the notes section. Click 'notes' to view the details.
