Change the password complexity for your organization

As the Org Admin you can change the rules that a user's password must conform to. Users with Edit all user profiles permission can also make these changes.

Tip!

Set a default password strength and expiry durations to make sure your organization’s users choose secure passwords.

  1. Click the Setup button on the Module Menu, and then under My Organization, click User Accounts List.
  1. Type the user's given or family name or their login name into the fields provided.
  2. Click the Search button.
  3. Click the name of the user you want to edit.
  1. Click the Administration tab.
  2. Select the required rule for this user in the Password Strength list, see the table below.
  3. You can also select the amount of time between a password’s expiry date. The options are six months, 60 days or 45 days. The number of attempts defaults to five.
  4. When you’ve finished, save your changes.
