Editing your organization's name and other details

As the Org Admin you can update your organization's details

What's the difference between your Organization Name and your Trading Name?

Organization Name: this is your Organization’s legal entity name. This only appears in the Organization Name field in Aconex.

Trading Name: this is a shorter version of your Organization Name and often used on stock exchanges. This is the name that is used for display purposes throughout Aconex. For example, it is used in the following:

  • the Created By field when uploading single documents
  • appears under the user’s name on all screens
  • it’s displayed in the Directories
  • it's used in Upload Profiles
  • it’s shown in Workflows.

We recommend using the same name for both Organization and Trading Name: usually this will be your legal Organization Name. This avoids any confusion that could be caused if they do not match. If you need to update either of these names, please contact Oracle Support.

Tip!

You cannot directly edit your organization name or trading name. If you need to update either of these names, please contact Oracle Support.

Updating organization details

  1. Click the Setup button on the menu, and under My Organization, click Organization Details.
  1. Enter or change information in fields as required. You must complete mandatory fields to save your changes. Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.
  2. Click the Save button.
