Review your organizations' Oracle Aconex security settings

We recommend reviewing your organization's security settings at least once a year.

Cyber security breaches are a very real threat to organizations around the globe. Peace-of-mind is one of the greatest values Oracle delivers with our products and services when it comes to proactive security solutions.

There are a few things that organizations can do, to help ensure their data is protected. Here are 5 things that you can do today to help maintain the highest levels of security.

Enable 2-Step Verification

2-Step Verification (2SV) gives you an extra layer of protection and requires a second form of verification, beyond the password. Learn more about 2SV here.

Discourage the use of shared accounts

Shared accounts mean sharing passwords. Sharing passwords at the workplace is the same as giving away a personal identity. This also weakens the Aconex audit trail making it difficult to know who did what.

Review users on a regular basis

It's good practice to regularly audit users to ensure accounts are disabled for those who have left the organization, or no longer require access. If it's not already, this would be a great addition to your offboarding process. This audit can be done from within Aconex, and also via API. Learn more here
