Add records to a test plan activity on Mobile

Add inspections and documents as evidence of the work you've done in an activity.

Records such as inspections and documents can be added as evidence of the work you've done in an activity. A Manager or Approver may also want to schedule the required inspections before the Assignee starts working on the activity.

Add records

  1. Tap the Records tab of the activity.
  2. Tap Add Records.
  3. Choose from the following record types:


Inspection

  • Choose an inspection template. You can search for an inspection template by title.
  • Fill out the inspection and save it.

Documents

  • Attach up to 10 documents from the document register.
  • Once added, you can add a description/comment to each file.

Photo or Video

  • Use your device camera to capture photos (up to 10 MB) and videos (up to 50 MB) or add them from your gallery.
  • Once added, you can add markups to images, edit the file name and add a description/comment to each file. 

Files

  • Attach files from your mobile device.
  • Once added, you can add markups to images and PDFs, edit the file name and add a description/comment to each file.
