Terminate a document in a workflow

Workflow initiators can remove documents from a workflow.

Tip!

Terminating a document from a workflow will not delete it from your Document Register.

  1. Choose your project from the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  1. Click Workflows.
  2. Under Search, click Workflows.
  1. Enter your search criteria as required and click the Search button.
  1. Select the checkbox for each document you want to terminate.
  1. Click the Initiator Tools button for the workflow step.
  2. Select Terminate from the menu that displays.
  1. A confirmation window displays. Check that the documents listed are the ones you want to terminate, and enter your reason for terminating them.
  2. Click the OK button to remove the documents from your workflow.
  1. Click the Close button in the confirmation message that displays.

Tip!

You can view the reason for termination by clicking the magnifying glass icon under the action column.
