What does Handover give you?
The Smart Manual is software installed on your computer that contains all of the handover documentation in a structured, graphical searchable database. It is connected to your project and, when synced, will populate with documentation from the Document Register that has been tagged as 'Required for Handover'.
All contracted services and suppliers for a project must provide a list of their assets. This list is known as the Asset Register for that contracted service/supplier. The Asset Register is key to the production of the Smart Manual as it ensures that a complete Asset Register for all contracted services and suppliers is built into the Smart Manual as a searchable register containing all basic (minimum) information for each asset. The Smart Manual has graphical navigation allowing you to click through in a logical manner, saving you time from searching for a specific document. This navigation is determined by the Project Configuration. Starting at the Landing Page, or Hero Image, make selections to click through the Smart Manual. Typically the Smart Manual clicks through from the Landing Page to an Elevation and then a list of documents. Oracle Professional Services can work with you to configure your Smart Manual.
Hero image - an image for the manual's home screen and optional second-level screen.
Level drill-down page - Select a level to find drawings by discipline. This is typically an elevation drawing and appears after your hero image.
Hotspot - A clickable object in the smart manual that takes you to images, drawings, or manuals. Used in the hero image, drill-down page(s), and assets. Click on an asset hotspot on the site plan to get to all the documentation about that asset.
Sync in Smart Manuals
When more documents and assets are added within a live Aconex project, users can directly call them to Smart Manuals with a single click, using the new Sync button.

This label will show how many documents are yet to be synced from the web.
Searching Text in PDF
We can search PDFs based on the text inside any document and these documents can be opened with your system's default viewer.
Send Error Report
We will collect all the required logs related to Smart Manuals and attach it as a zip folder in your default mail app. With a simple click, you can send us all the required application information.
Display last sync date and documents
Available to sync along with retaining the order of the columns in the document list.
