Can I use my existing Identity Domain?
- If the username field configured in your existing Identity Domain is an email address, then you can use the existing Identity Domain.
- If the username field configured in your existing Identity Domain is NOT an email address, then you must create a separate Identity Domain for configuring SSO for Aconex.
- If you use an Identity Domain for Primavera Cloud then we recommend you also use it for Aconex, rather than creating a separate Identity Domain.
What are the implications of using an existing Identity Domain?
- The Identity Domain will list all users accounts across all applicable products in a common user pool. This means that admins for the Identity Domain will see all user accounts in the common pool. As an example, Primavera P6 admins would be able to see accounts for Primavera P6, Aconex, and Primavera Cloud users. They need to be careful not to delete or edit an account that belongs to a product they don't administer.
- Some Oracle products charge based on the number of users in a common user pool. If this applies to your product, we suggest you create a separate Identity Domain for Aconex.
