Using the Lobby for Org Admins

The Lobby makes it easier to access your projects from different applications and instances.

Admins can also manage users in one place. Access Aconex, Preconstruction, Oracle Primavera Cloud, and Primavera Unifier via the Lobby.

The Lobby gives you:

  • All your organizations in one place. If you administer one organization or 100, in a single region or many, they’ll be in the Lobby.
  • A single place to view users. In the Lobby, list all users for each organization, without having to sign in to multiple Aconex locations.
  • Improved single sign-on (SSO). Your IT team can set up SSO configuration for your whole company.
  • Management over your organization's OAuth Clients.

Users in the Lobby

Admins can easily see all their organization's users, across any region, in the Lobby.

Migrate your users' Aconex accounts to Lobby accounts one-at-a-time or use the batch onboarding tool to link many quickly. The tools also lets you resolve any problems preventing Lobby accounts being made, like people sharing email addresses.

The Lobby has all your Aconex organizations. 

Projects in the Lobby

Users can view all the projects they can access in the Lobby, and link projects across applications where they are admins for the project controlling organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does someone become an Administrator? All Aconex and Primavera Cloud administrators are automatically Lobby admins. 

  • Aconex users: If you're an Aconex organization admin, you'll be an organization admin in the Lobby. As the Aconex organization admin role is very configurable, we treat a user as an admin if they can create and edit other users.
  • Primavera Cloud users: If the user is an admin in the tenant-owning organization, they will be an admin in the Lobby.

Any user can be made an Administrator in the Lobby by any other Administrator.
