Bulk annotation in the Online Viewer

Add stamps and markups across multiple pages and documents with a single click.

  1. Select one or more markups you want to copy across to other pages or documents in the review.
  2. Click Bulk Annotate from the toolbar.

Tip!

  • File attachment markups are not supported.
  • If you are in full-screen mode, you are taken to normal mode after clicking Bulk Annotation.
  1. Complete the details in the Bulk Annotation screen:
    • Enter a name for this bulk run. This is only visible to you as a handy reference if you need to undo the action.
    • Enter the start and end page to apply the selected markups. Note: The page numbers correspond to the pages of the PDF file rather than the document’s internal numbering.
    • Select documents in this review to apply the selected markups.
  2. Click Apply Annotations.

Tip!

  • There's a 10-page limit per document.
  • Bulk annotation supports markups up to 100KB.
  • If you copy a 'Review Outcome Extended' dynamic stamp, the Document Number and Revision will be blank. To update the stamp, select a Review Outcome for that document.
  • Documents that are not PDF, read-only, or in a sub-workflow will not be available to select.
  • Markups will be copied in the same position as the source document. Your documents should have a consistent orientation (ie: Landscape or Portrait) to ensure accurate positioning.
  1. You'll see a message if the action was successful. You can now view your documents to confirm the markups were applied as expected.
  1. (Optional) If you made a mistake you can undo the last bulk annotation you applied. Click Bulk Annotation and select Undo previous action.

Tip!

Markups that were moved or modified after the bulk action will not be undone.
