The Roundup featuring releases April 2023 through to July 2023

Welcome to the second Roundup for 2023. We'll take a look back at some of the biggest improvements to Aconex from the last few months. In this issue, we revisit releases April 2023 through to July 2023, and highlight some features you may have missed.

Clash in the Cloud is here

  • With Model Coordination, it's easier to detect clashes earlier.
  • Set the rules for the clash detection engine and it'll check for clashes each time a model is updated.
  • Easily identify a clash, raise the design issue, and connect an RFI.
  • Turn on Clash in the Cloud via project settings.

Do more with markups

  • Measurements are easier with a new snapping feature. Using any measurement tool, click your start point and Aconex will snap to select a logical endpoint. 
  • Now you can share your markups with parallel reviewers before submitting the document.  Simply publish your markups and reviewers in both the same step and parallel steps will be notified. 
  • We also made the bulk annotations button easier to find.

Send more on a Transmittal

  • The wait is over! We increased the limit on Transmittals, so you can send more in one go.
  • Now, send up to 3,000 documents in a single Transmittal.
  • The maximum weighting has also increased to 15,000. Learn more about transmittal weighting
  • Applies to the Transmittal mail type only. Does not apply to other transmittal types (Workflow, Supplier Document, Package, or Tender transmittals).

Flexible attachments, every day

  • We heard you. Along with photos, you can now attach video, audio, PDFs, and other files to your issues.
  • You also asked for attachments per section in your daily report. We got you.
  • Organize your photos and other files in each section of your daily report, so you can find them easily. 
  • Available on both web and mobile.
